The Intel 9th generation CoffeeLake refresh series of CPU is built on the same 14nm process as the previous 2 generation Intel CPU’s but with more cores, this gives them a performance benefit over the previous generations. This generation of processors benefit from higher clock speeds and more physical cores. The Intel Core I5 9400F offers decent gaming performance with its six cores running at 2.9GHz base speed and 4.1GHz turbo. There is no integrated graphics with this chip so it will require a discrete GPU. This chip also has 9MB L3 cache and a TDP of 65W. The Gigabyte Z390 UD motherboard is an entry level option packed full of features, such as a 10+2 Phase PWM design putting it at the top of the class when it comes to making the most out of the new 8 Core 9th gen CPUS and with its 4 DIMM slots supporting upto 128GB of RAM of speeds upto 4266MHz, support for the latest M.2 SSD’s with its 22110 M.2 connector and up to 10 USB ports including USB3.1, USB 2.0 ports along with HDMI 1.4. There is no RAM with this bundle but it can support DDR4 RAM up to 4000 MHz. This bundle is a pre-assembled, configured and fully tested component bundle ready to go out of the box and straight into your PC. It comes with a CPU heatsink/fan, pre applied thermal paste to the CPU and will arrive with the usual motherboard manual, CD, back plate and SATA cables provided with the board.
